Recently, Sizzlin’ Sam and I have been fortunate to have been joined by excellent guests (Tyler Forness, Matt Fries, and Jeremy Reisman). On the latest episode of Notes from the North – a humble Vikings podcast – Sizzlin’ Sam and I are joined by Arif Hasan of Pro Football Network.

Learning a bit more about Arif’s background covering the Vikings was a treat. We get to hear about moving up the ranks from blogging about the Vikings to becoming a national writer for PFN.
The competitive rebuild has been an ongoing topic and focus since Kwesi Adofo-Mensah took over in Minnesota. The GM is trying to find a via media (to borrow a theological term), a middle way that allows him to simultaneously prepare for the future without forfeiting the present. Give the episode a listen to get some of Arif’s thoughts on that process.
Toward the end, we shoehorn some draft chatter into the conversation. We even get Arif to offer up some predictions for how things will shake out for the Vikings. He names a specific corner – Deonte Banks – as one to monitor for Minnesota.
