The View from VT: Bring on The Cavalry, An Important Decision at Center, and Some Harrison Smith Doubt
Vikings Territory is the sister-site to Purple PTSD. I sometimes post content over there; VT‘s managing editor, Dustin Baker, sometimes posts content over here. Other writers similarly post on both sites. The point I’m trying to make is that we at PTSD are friends with the folks at VT. As a result, we’re promoting some of their most clicked on content from the past week. Enjoy the extra reading.
1) Here Comes The Cavalry for Vikings: Patrick Peterson, Harrison Smith, Anthony Barr, and even Kenny Willekes should make life easier for Zim (who has had to deal with a lot).
2) Vikings Have Decision to Make at Center Position: I wonder if the lack of Bradbury led to the lack of screens. I also wonder if Mason Cole’s strong showing leads to a change at RG.
3) Decision to Extend Harrison Smith Not Looking Ideal: Harrison Smith, the best safety of his generation, is in town for several more years, which I think is a good thing. I also think it’s a good thing that Cam Bynum has shown so much promise.
4) So, Do We Even Want The Vikings to Make The Playoffs: Vikings fans seem to be torn between hope and fear of the future.
5) SANSEVERE: THE VIKINGS WIN, BUT…: There is always a “but” with this Vikings team.
