On Tuesday morning, the NFL released their official schedule for the preseason, including all dates and times for each matchup. Just like last year, each team will play three exhibition games ahead of the season opener on September 8th between the Buffalo Bills and Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams. The only exceptions to this are the Jacksonville Jaguars and Las Vegas Raiders, who will face off in the Hall of Fame Game on August 4th.

The Minnesota Vikings preseason opponents have been known for a couple weeks now, but we officially have the date and time for each NFL team. Every game can be found here. The Vikings matchups are as follows:

  • Week 1 @ Las Vegas Raiders, August 14th at 4:25 PM ET
  • Week 2 vs. San Francisco 49ers, August 20th at 7 PM ET
  • Week 3 @ Denver Broncos, August 27th at 9 PM ET

The AFC West found itself in an arms race to win the division as every team made massive moves to improve their rosters. The Vikings are rewarded with sneak peeks at two of the teams before the regular season begins.

Minnesota will be the first team to see Davante Adams in his new black and silver digs following his trade from the Green Bay Packers to the Las Vegas Raiders earlier this offseason. The duo reunites after being a collegiate tandem at Fresno State. Also on the docket for the Vikings is the Denver Broncos. They will be one of the first teams to see Russell Wilson under center after a trade of his own.

Of the preseason matchups, six of them will be displayed on national television, but the Vikings will not get that opportunity. Instead, they will have to wait September 19th to play their first national TV game when they take on the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football.

The Minnesota Vikings will play their first preseason game on August 14th.
