The Minnesota Vikings just wrapped up a 3-0 victory against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.

However, the team has to turn around and play again on Saturday as they travel to Cincinnati and take on the Bengals in Week 15. As a result, the team released its first injury report of the week on Tuesday ahead of the matchup, and the Vikings offense had multiple playmakers appear on the initial report. It should be noted that this injury report was an estimate as the team only held a walkthrough today.

Here is the full report from the Vikings:

  • RG Ed Ingram (Hip, Limited)
  • WR Justin Jefferson (Chest, Limited)
  • RB Alexander Mattison (Ankle, DNP)
  • WR Jalen Nailor (Concussion, DNP)
  • RT Brian O’Neill (Ankle, DNP)
  • LG Dalton Risner (Ankle, Limited)

Of course, fans will immediately notice Justin Jefferson’s presence on the injury report. The wide receiver made his first appearance since Week 5 after spending seven games on injured reserve, but it was short-lived. In the second quarter against the Raiders, safety Marcus Epps delivered a massive hit to Jefferson, which took him out of the game.

Jefferson’s day finished with a pair of receptions for 27 yards, but it was enough for him to pass Randy Moss for the most receiving yards through four seasons in Vikings franchise history. Hopefully, the star will be able to get back on the field this weekend against the Bengals and his former collegiate teammate Ja’Marr Chase.

Additionally, Alexander Mattison did not participate in the walkthrough because of his ankle injury. He exited last weekend’s game against Las Vegas after totaling 10 carries for 66 yards. In recent weeks, the running back has put together some strong performances for the Vikings, totaling 199 yards over the past three games and averaging well over five yards per carry.

Minnesota’s offensive line also remains banged up heading into Week 15. Ed Ingram did not play on Sunday against the Raiders due to a hip injury while both Brian O’Neill and Dalton Risner exited the game with ankle injuries. All three remain on the injury report on Tuesday.

Assuming the Vikings stick with the same replacements as Sunday, if the trio is unable to go on Saturday, David Quessenberry should be in line to take over right tackle duties while Blake Brandel and Austin Schlottmann handle things at the guard spots.

The Vikings will release two more injury reports this week on Wednesday and Thursday. The Thursday injury report will include initial game statuses for any injured players. Then, kickoff between the Vikings and Bengals is scheduled for 12 PM Central on Saturday, December 16th at Paycor Stadium.
