Vikings Will Be Down an Offensive Lineman in Week 14
The Minnesota Vikings are just about an hour away from kicking things off with the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 14.
Ahead of the game, though, the Vikings got a little bit of a bad news as they will be down an offensive lineman as right guard Ed Ingram has been listed as inactive for today’s contest.
Vikings Will Be Down an Offensive Lineman in Week 14
Here is the full list of inactives for Minnesota today:
- S Lewis Cine
- QB Jaren Hall
- RG Ed Ingram
- TE Nick Muse
- OT Hakeem Adeniji
Ingram popped up on the Thursday injury report with a hip injury and was listed as questionable on Friday. The 2022 second-round pick by the Vikings faced a ton of scrutiny for his pass-blocking abilities during his rookie season. However, he has come into form nicely during the 2023 season, and PFF has credited him with a grade of 61.4. This ranks 35th among all guards in the league this season with at least 400 snaps played.
An underrated aspect of Ingram’s play has been his durability. The right guard has yet to miss a game over his first two seasons, starting all 29 games to begin his NFL career, and this is set to be his first absence.
Luckily, the Vikings do have plenty of depth at the guard spot now. Chris Reed came off the NFI list a couple weeks ago while Blake Brandel spent much of training camp working at the guard spot.
We will quickly learn more about the Vikings guard situation when the game kicks off at 3:05 PM inside Allegiant Stadium.
