Vikings GM Nolan Teasley Already Bringing In Old Friends

Minnesota Vikings GM Nolan Teasley may have only had his introductory press conference a little over 24 hours ago, but that didn’t stop him from immediately getting to work on the roster.
Per the team’s official website, the Vikings have signed WRs Michael Briscoe and Trayvon Rudolph, and have waived WR Joaquin Davis. Both Briscoe and Rudolph were both undrafted free agent signings by the Seattle Seahawks while Nolan Teasley was still the Assistant General Manager.
Vikings Sign Two WRs, Say Goodbye (For Now) to One

WR Michael Briscoe is 6’2, 209lbs and hails from Vacaville, California. He spent five total seasons at Cal Poly, totaling 87 catches for 1,776 yards and 15 touchdowns. 2025 was his best season, where he caught 43 passes for 779 yards and 7 touchdowns that year alone. He also tallied 9 carries for 89 yards and a touchdown throughout his collegiate career, as well as 2 completions on 4 pass attempts for 23 yards, a touchdown, and an interception.
Per Cal Poly’s Athletics website, in 2024, Briscoe’s redshirt Junior season saw him record 25 receptions for 538 yards and 4 touchdowns. These numbers hoist him into the top-5 across the nation for yards-per-reception. A main concern for Briscoe is his injury history; he missed his entire redshirt freshman year due to injury in 2022, and missed five games in 2023.
Briscoe was waived from the Seahawks for “failure to disclose physical condition”, per Mookie Alexander of SBNation.
WR Trayvon Rudolph played four seasons at Northern Illinois University before transferring to Toledo for his final season in 2025. His collegiate career saw him haul in 192 passes for 2,482 yards and 12 touchdowns. Northern Illinois used him a decent amount in the rushing game. His total collegiate rushing totals were 48 carries for 481 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Per Toledo’s Athletics website, Rudolph was quite the threat on special teams, as well. He earned 2025 Second-Team All-MAC honors as a WR and kick returner, which brought his total number of All-MAC honors to six. In his first game with Toledo, he housed a 96-yard opening kickoff return touchdown against none-other than his former school, Northern Illinois.
Rudolph was waived by the Seahawks in order to make room for Irv Charles, whom the team acquired in a trade with the New York Jets for a conditional seventh-round pick.
To accommodate the sudden influx of wide receivers, the Vikings waived Joaquin Davis. Davis was an undrafted free agent signed by the Broncos in 2025. Denver would release him, and he would sign with the Vikings in December.
Vikings’ Updated WR Room

Have a look at the Vikings’ current WR room per their official website.
- Justin Jefferson
- Jordan Addison
- Jauan Jennings
- Tai Felton
- Luke Wysong
- Marcus Sanders Jr.
- Myles Price
- Jeshaun Jones
- Dontae Fleming
- Terrill Davis
- Dillon Bell
- Michael Briscoe
- Trayvon Rudolph
The only “guaranteed” men to make the roster are Jefferson, Addison, Jennings, and Myles Price as a returner. It does seem likely that Tai Felton would make the 53-man roster, given his role as WR4 or 5 last season, and his Day 2 draft pedigree.
Felton’s spot, as well as the rest of the spots behind him, are there for the taking in a receiver room full of young bucks looking to get a cozy job under the wings of Justin Jefferson.
