Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.

The View from VT: May 30th, 2026

1) Vikings May Not be Done Adding Big-Name WRs: They almost certainly are, folks. Rolling with a monstrous top trio of Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and Jauan Jennings (great signing) means that the focus now rests elsewhere. Only injury or suspension will prompt a Minnesota move.

2) The Vikings Might Have an OLB Problem: The depth took a hit. What will be fascinating to see is if there ends up being guys like Eric Wilson and Jake Golday kicked to the edge. Or, perhaps, is the move to shuffle a d-lineman over there?

3) Lost in the Shuffle, The Vikings Pursue a Trade But Had No Takers: The Minnesota Vikings appear to be quite sincere in their belief in DT Caleb Banks. There is, nevertheless, some merit in the idea that a trade down was still desired. Seeing the Vikings’ version of a perfect world would have involved moving down, gaining a pick (or two), and then still drafting Banks.

4) A New Vikings Weapon is Already Talking Trash with Brian Flores: Quarterback Kyler Murray doesn’t lack for talent. He has played Brian Flores in the past, with a single game standing out as one where he torched the Flores defense.

5) Vikings Defender Appears to Have Switched Positions: Coach Flores never feels constrained by what a player is supposed to do. If an edge rusher can do wonderfully dropping into pass coverage, then Flores is happy to oblige. Apply that basic idea — a willingness to move players all over the place — to the defense in its entirety. Is there any surprise that the summer is a time for some experimentation?
