Nolan Teasley has already brought in a couple of friends into the front office that he’s been given control of in Minnesota.

A few days ago, Teasley hired Andrew Healy and Trent Kirchner to become Assistant General Managers immediately under him. Healy joined the Cleveland Browns in 2016 in the player personnel department, and also has a Ph.D. in economics from MIT. Healy taught economics classes at Loyola Marymount University in his past, per Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk.

Trent Kirchner goes way back with Nolan Teasley. Kirchner has been in the NFL for 27 years, spending the last seven seasons with the Seattle Seahawks as Vice President of Player Personnel. In years past, Kirchner has had various opportunities at a General Manager job in the NFL. He interviewed for the GM position of the Detroit Lions, San Francisco 49ers, and got an interview request from the New York Jets in 2018. In 2021, he was interviewed by the Houston Texans. Kirchner would end up staying put in Seattle.

Today, the Vikings announced more hires to join Nolan Teasley’s new regime in Minnesota.

The Vikings announced the hiring of former Bears GM Ryan Pace as a football advisor. Pace was calling the shots in Chicago from 2015 to 2021. Since then, he has been in the Falcons’ player personnel department. In Atlanta, he spent time as a Senior Personnel Executive, Director of Player Personnel, and Vice President of Football Operations & Player Personnel.

Pace entered the NFL in 2001 with the New Orleans Saints, where he held numerous football ops and player personnel department roles through the 2014 season. Now, he joins Nolan Teasley in the Twin Cities.

Additionally, Nolan Teasley is bringing in Azzaam Kapadia to be the Assistant Director of Pro Scouting. Per Kapadia’s LinkedIn profile, he spent three seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, beginning as a player personnel intern. He became a Player Personnel Assistant in 2024, and was a Pro Scout in 2025. He gets a pretty big promotion now in Minnesota under Nolan Teasley.

Ryan Grigson was the Assistant General Manager in Minnesota in 2025. He was brought in to the Vikings organization in 2022 with Kevin O’Connell and Kwesi Adofo-Mensah originally as the Senior Vice President of Player Personnel. Now that Kirchner and Healy are the Assistant General Managers, Grigson has been moved to a role with a new title. That title is still currently unclear.

Nolan Teasley is completely reforming the Vikings’ front office. He is filling the important seats with people that have been a part of organizations that have been successful in recent years. The exception to that is Healy, who of course, was with the Browns. Still, every other of the front office hires that Teasley has made has been a part of a championship-winning operation at some point in their careers.

The arrow is pointing up for the Minnesota Vikings with all of the new faces in their front office. A thing to keep an eye on during the upcoming season and next offseason is the coaching staff. This new regime in the front office could look to go out with the old and in with the new across the entire coaching staff if 2026 isn’t up to their standards.
