Vikings Territory and PurplePTSD will be keeping you up to date with all of the latest from training camp. These festivities will give fans an opportunity to show up and not only support the Vikings, but also get an inside look at the construction of the roster.
As you can probably assume, there will be one key battle that all of the fans will be keeping an eye on.
Training Camp Will Be All About the Vikings QB Duel

Like they have been since March, all eyes will be on the QB competition between J.J. McCarthy and Kyler Murray. Fans in attendance will be watching every single rep from each QB without blinking. If you aren’t in attendance, there’s a good chance that you’ll be seeing some clips online circulating from people in attendance.
What is unclear is if they Vikings will announce the actual starter ahead of time or not. It’s looking like they’ll make a decision closer to the season. For that reason, then the attention that the QB position will be garnering will be even more-so.
Another thing to keep a close eye on is the battle for WR4. Tai Felton leads to race, but Georgia UDFA Dillon Bell could make things interesting. Kicker Will Reichard will likely be as automatic as usual, and Justin Jefferson will be his usual elite self.
Nonetheless, football still feels ages away. The August start to training camp is a later one than usual, as 2025’s edition of the events started in mid-late July. We will get there soon, Vikings fans, and the season will end before we even want it to as it always does.
