Justin Jefferson said earlier this offseason that he wanted to “break the bank” with his next contract, and he certainly accomplished that. The wide receiver signed a four-year deal worth a total of $140 million including a guaranteed amount of $110 million.

With an average annual value of $35 million on his new deal, Jefferson now becomes the highest-paid non-quarterback in the NFL, surpassing Nick Bosa’s average annual value of $34 million.

Every once in awhile, NFL players will change positions to better suit their current teams. For instance, the Minnesota Vikings saw this happen just last year when offensive tackle Blake Brandel kicked inside to guard to help fill in a depth role at the position. It paid off as Brandel started two games at right guard in relief of Ed Ingram.

This year, another Vikings player is set to change his position as revealed by head coach Kevin O’Connell during his media time on Tuesday. That player is Vikings receiver N’Keal Harry, who will be making the transition to tight end in 2024.

Last summer, Minnesota unveiled “The Vikings Classic” jersey, which was worn during their season opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This year, Minnesota is unveiling another new jersey, taking their old Winter Whiteout jerseys to the next level.

These jerseys, dubbed the “Winter Warrior” is an all-white uniform while also bringing a white helmet to the table, which was something often asked for by fans after the whiteout was introduced in 2022.
