Injury Report Week 4 ‒ Vikings at Packers
The Vikings are beginning to look healthier. Don’t get me wrong, ten players appeared in the injury report this week with some sort of injury, but 9 of them are cleared to play. Star TE T.J. Hockenson is also very close to playing again, and his addition should only improve one of the best offenses in the league.
The Packers also have a lot of players banged up, including two very important contributors.
Green Bay Packers Injuries
The Packers listed two players as questionable and one as doubtful. After injuring his MCL in Brazil, QB Jordan Love missed the last two games. He was limited in every practice this week and is listed as questionable.
It looks like he’ll play, but head coach Matt LaFleur said it will be a game-time decision. OT Jordan Morgan missed practice the entire week with a shoulder injury and won’t play Sunday.
The other important player who is questionable is CB Jaire Alexander. He’s dealing with a quad/groin injury and was limited on Wednesday and Thursday but didn’t participate on Friday. DB Carrington Valentine was also limited Wednesday and Thursday but was out Friday with an ankle situation and is listed as doubtful.
DT Kenny Clark, TE Tucker Kraft, TE Luke Musgrave, C Josh Myers, WR Jayden Reed, OT Zach Tom, and DT Devonte Wyatt all missed or were limited at some point during the week but are cleared to play.
Minnesota Vikings Injuries
Kevin O’Connell will only miss one defender against the Packers. The bad part is that the player is LB Ivan Pace Jr. The young player is still dealing with an ankle injury that sidelined him against the Texans last week. Kamu Grugier-Hill filled in for him and had a nice game against his former team, intercepting a pass on the first play.
WR Jordan Addison (ankle) and OLB Dallas Turner (knee) are back after missing last week’s game. Addison is back in Lambeau after a strong game there in 2023. His return also helps QB Sam Darnold a lot, giving him another good receiver to pass the ball to. Turner is back in the rotation of the most dominating defensive line in the league right now and will have his first experience in this rivalry.
C Garrett Bradbury (ankle), S Jay Ward (knee), DL Jonathan Bullard (knee), LB Kamu Grugier-Hill (knee), TE Josh Oliver (wrist), QB Sam Darnold (knee), and OT Christian Darrisaw (illness) all practiced without limitations on Friday and are good to go against the Packers. Veterans Harrison Smith and Stephon Gilmore had scheduled rest days on Friday.
