Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we occasionally promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look of five of their articles from the past week.

The View from VT: July 1st, 2023 (Happy Canada Day!)

1) One Young Viking Tabbed as Forgotten: Yes, a bit overlooked at this stage. The safety position boasts some notable talent, so Lewis Cine will truly need to earn more playing time. Making things look more promising for Cine is the uncertainty that rests at corner. Might Brian Flores lean heavily on his safeties?

2) Alas, There Is an Offer for Dalvin Cook: Sincerely, I wish him well. The humongous cap charge didn’t make a ton of sense for Minnesota, especially after retaining Alexander Mattison. Playing RB in the NFL right now isn’t easy, so hopefully Cook can land on his feet. He did some great things for the team.

3) Vikings Can Tout One of the League’s ‘Most Overlooked’ Additions: Somewhat surprisingly, Kwesi Adofo-Mensah hasn’t been super active with free agents. Nevertheless, one of the moves he made has gained widespread acclaim.

4) Vikings Star Completely Snubbed from Top 10 List: Truth be told, I don’t put too much stock into lists, especially the ones coming out during the offseason. They can generate debates, though. At least the lists from the regular season have the benefit of seeing actual games and results that flow therefrom.

5) ‘Mark that Down’ – Analyst Predicts Tug of War for Kirk Cousins: The purple dot connecting that Florio is doing does make some sense. Be that as it may, I’m not entirely ready to conclude that the Vikings will move on from Mr. Cousins. After all, the QB1 has consistently expressed his desire to finish his career in Minnesota.
