As it turns out, with just about a week left until the start of training camp, this week’s purple headlines features a number of television events that Vikings fans should be paying attention to ahead of the 2023 season. Let’s get into why.

Unsurprisingly, Justin Jefferson has taken home yet another award for his outstanding 2022 season. This time, the Vikings star wide receiver received an ESPY for Best Play. The award, of course, stems from Jefferson’s ridiculous one-handed catch on 4th and 18 against the Buffalo Bills during their Week 10 showdown. Had he not made that grab, the Vikings in all likelihood would have lost that game.

There has been much deliberation as to who will be featured on HBO’s Hard Knocks this summer, but it seems that a decision has finally been made. This year, the New York Jets will be the focus of the series.

The show gives an in-depth look into what training camp is like for both players and coaches, and every year, fans flock to HBO in order to get a glimpse of football before preseason and regular season games begin. With Aaron Rodgers joining the Jets this offseason, and multiple moves being made on that roster, it should be an interesting series to watch.

A few months ago, the media giant, Netflix, announced that they would be releasing a new series this summer titled Quarterback that follows the stories of Kirk Cousins, Patrick Mahomes, and Marcus Mariota through the 2022 NFL season.

This series provides an exclusive look into the life of an NFL quarterback both on the field and behind the scenes, and on Wednesday, it officially premiered. There are eight episodes that can be streamed now, and if you want a look into the life of the Vikings QB1, it’s a great watch.
