Vikings QB Kirk Cousins Will Be a Main Feature in a New Netflix Docu-Series

Minnesota Vikings QB Kirk Cousins stepped outside of his comfort zone in a number of ways during the 2022 NFL season.
New head coach Kevin O’Connell had him pushing the ball downfield in ways we hadn’t seen before. He was donning flashy chains on the team plane after wins. And now, it appears that Cousins will be a main feature of a Netflix docu-series following three of the NFL’s starting quarterbacks.
The series is simply named “Quarterback”, and it is set to follow the 2022 seasons of Atlanta Falcons QB Marcus Mariota, Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, and Cousins.
The streaming service announced the docu-series in a tweet saying, “Announcing Quarterback, a docu-series following the 2022 NFL season through the eyes of [Kirk Cousins], Marcus Mariota, and MVP and Super Bowl champion [Patrick Mahomes]! Unprecedented access and for the first time ever players are mic’d up for every game! Premieres this summer.”
No official date has been set for the release of this series at this point in time, but it promises to be a very interesting series from the point of view of these quarterbacks. For one thing, it appears that we’ll get to see some very intriguing footage of the Chiefs Super Bowl season, but even from a Vikings perspective, this was probably the perfect time to record this series.
To say the least, the Vikings schedule was chock-full of some exciting games this season. Comebacks against the Buffalo Bills and Indianapolis Colts are just a couple of the more notable examples. Hopefully, we get to see some of the raw emotion from these games along with the rest of the season. At the very least, this promises to be a very interesting watch, and the fact that it should provide an insight on the Vikings season is just an added bonus.
