Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we occasionally promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look of five of their articles from the past week.
1) Vikings Defense Could Soon Receive Help: If we were being optimistic, we’d say that the Vikings defense is a work in progress. Currently, they’re near the bottom of the NFL in several significant statistics, points against foremost among them. Adding some help wouldn’t be a bad thing.
2) Ranking the Vikings Would-Be Playoff Opponents in Round 1: There are only a couple games left, but much remains to be decided. Forced to guess, I’d say Minnesota drops down to the #3 seed. If that occurs, then the Giants will likely be coming to town. New York will even have a former Viking to help them.
3) Vikings Must Make Critical Decision about Rookie: He played really well in the preseason. If things go a certain way, the Vikings may be looking to get some rest for the starters. That’s a scenario where Ty Chandler might be able to get onto the field.
4) Former Vikings Starter Joins Tom Brady in Tampa Bay: I was among those who were pretty surprised to see the Colts move on from the defensive end following their game against Minnesota. After all, he was a bright spot in a couple critical moments. Nevertheless, Ifeadi Odenigbo now has a chance to pursue a Super Bowl alongside TB12.
5) A New Viking Hero Emerges: Getting to 12 wins, more often than not, is the result of several different players stepping up at critical times. The most recent win is simply one example of that reality. Greg Joseph is an incredibly resilient kicker. He navigated some persistent struggles to come back to drill a 61-yarder for the win in Week 16.
