Some of the videos emerging from the Vikings’ draft war room are awesome. One such video is of Kwesi Adofo-Mensah and Kevin O’Connell targeting Andrew Booth Jr. in the draft.

Hope for Booth is sky-high in Minnesota. His most immediate competition for playing time is Patrick Peterson and Cameron Dantzler. If the rookie proves better than one of those two, then he’ll have a sizeable role in 2022.
Of course, the other major hurdle to clear is his health, or lack thereof. There has been an awful lot of talk about how much injuries were a part of his college career. Being able to get and stay healthy is thus vitally important.
As the above video demonstrates, the Vikings were very high on Andrew Booth Jr. Though I’ve been critical of the decision to do the Lions deal, Adofo-Mensah obviously felt confident in the draft capital he was able to accumulate. When a player he really wanted was sliding, Adofo-Mensah pulled off a trade to go get his man.
