Source: WR coach Darrell Hazell’s contract expired; Drew Petzing possible replacement
According to Courtney Cronin, Minnesota Vikings reporter for ESPN, news has broke that current WR coach Darrell Hazell’s contract has expired and he won’t be returning in 2019. Given Drew Petzing’s experience as an assistant wide receivers coach & experience in the Minnesota Vikings atmosphere, he might just be the perfect candidate for the role.
I'm told Vikings WR coach Darrell Hazell's contract expired and he will not return in 2019. Given Drew Petzing's work as assistant WRs coach from 2014-17 (he was ast. QBs in 2018), it'd make sense for him to assume that position with the reshuffle. https://t.co/BE7hG3kE15

If this news proves to be true, it would add yet another change to a number of coaching changes, including new OC Kevin Stefanski, advisor to the OC Gary Kubiak, QB coach Klint Kubiak, TE coach Brian Pariani, and the incoming new special teams coach that has yet to be decided.
