Well, Bashaud Breeland has been cut. Tom Pelissero provides the details:
Breeland has been horrendous, though he has been the team’s starting CB2 for the year. When Patrick Peterson was out, Breeland even took over as the #1 man. Now, the Vikings will likely be rolling with upside sophomore Cameron Dantzler opposite the veteran Peterson.
Signed during the offseason to a one-year deal, Breeland was supposed to provide a veteran steadiness to help solidify a rebuilt secondary. Instead, his time in Minnesota was characterized by boneheaded mistakes and then a poor ending.
Things have been looking pretty dire at corner lately. It’s possible that this move will actually improve the on-field performance.

It’s an interesting thought experiment, let’s dive in.” uploaddate=”2021-12-17″ thumbnailurl=”//cdn.brid.tv/live/partners/19439/thumb/925858_s_1639777087287.jpg” contentUrl=”https://cdn.brid.tv/live/partners/17660/streaming/925858/925858.m3u8″]
