I look for the Vikings to make a big push to re-sign Anthony Harris but I do not look for them to extend Dalvin Cook this offseason~Not with his injury history where he has missed 19 of 48 games and he was on a pitch count in a number of other games as he worked his way back from ACL in 2017 and Hamstring issues in 2018 then he missed 2 games in 2019 with chest injury all in his first 3 seasons with the Vikings~I look for them to let him play through year 4 to see if he can play at least 14+ games in 2020~
So many things could play out so many ways~Just look at what the Rams\Cards are going throw with their big-name RB’s who put up big numbers for 4+ seasons before injuries set in~Now these teams are said to be moving on from such key players~
Lastly, if Cook has a breakout year and the Vikings want to keep him the new CBA will kick in in 2021 and based on what I have read the cap should be going up anywhere from 20 to 50+ million~So they should be able to reward Cook if they want to keep him~I think its the safest thing to do~And if need be the Vikings can put the F~Tag on Cook two years in a row~
So many ways this could play out~They could look to get his contract done this year~
As always please remember I know just enough to get us all in trouble~ LOL Cheers
