Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.

The View from VT: February 21st, 2026

1) John Randle Drops QB Endorsement for Viking: Mr. Randle knows far more about football than the overwhelming majority of people. That basic reality doesn’t mean he can’t be wrong. What it does mean, though, is that Randle’s perspective should be carefully considered before the QB decision gets made.

2) Vikings Officially Sign a Pair of Adds: Nothing is official in the NFL until it’s official. So, seeing the announcement coming from the team is worth taking note of for fan and writer alike. The word doesn’t get sent out by the team unless the ink has dried on the contract.

3) Kirk Cousins Reunion with Vikings Hits Sudden Snag: If Cousins ventures into retirement today, he’ll do so with the reputation of being someone who crushed the NFL when it comes to making money. On the field? Well, that’s an area where the results were more modest. The veteran only makes sense for cheap.

4) Vikings Again Named a Free Agent Fit for Stud CB: Dropping a high-end corner into the mix has a lot of appeal. There’s nevertheless some merit in rolling with CB1 Byron Murphy Jr. alongside CB2 Isaiah Rodgers before then going after a promising player in the 2026 NFL Draft.

5) SI.com Picks Vikings QB1 for 2026: Everyone has an opinion. The secret that few acknowledge? That J.J. McCarthy becoming a strong QB1 is the best outcome (and it’s not particularly close). Whoever gets added can’t be a roadblock for McCarthy’s possible (unlikely?) ascent.
