The View from VT: Vikings Cut a Player, DET Snags Former MIN, and Adding an All Pro

Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.
The View from VT: March 21st, 2026
1) Vikings Quietly Cut a Player: The NFL can be a cruel workplace. Young fella Zeke Correll had his rookie season undermined due to injury. Even worse, the Vikings then decided to move on. Hopefully he lands somewhere else, carving out a nice career for himself.

2) Lions Sign Former Vikings Playmaker: Tight end Tyler Conklin has done well for himself. Originally a 5th-Round selection, Mr. Conklin was a depth option in Minnesota before injury opened the chance to do more. He then became a low-end TE1/high-end TE2. Most recently, Conklin has been a journeyman, taking him to Michigan.
3) Vikings Add 6-Time All Pro Veteran: Given his age, Johnny Hekker could be cooked. Could be. Playing for Tennessee isn’t the world’s easiest assignment. Coming to Minnesota means booting the ball inside a stadium with a pair of tremendous gunners. Oh, and Matt Daniels is great at his job.

4) 3 Offseason Decisions the Vikings Absolutely Got Right: Open up the debate. Some of the decisions are hard to argue with, such as the low-cost signing of Kyler Murray. Others are more open for debate. Check out the piece.
5) Vikings Toss a Grenade at Bills, Swoop in to Steal Away O-Lineman: In hockey, moving in for RFA talent is seen as a touch controversial. Is the same true of NFL football? Regardless of ruffled feathers, the Vikings made a move for a promising OT3.
