What’s noteworthy about Brzezinski’s answer is that he’s putting the thoughts out there with consistent clarity and humility.
Tatum Everett of the Vikings Entertainment Network conducted an interview with Rob Brzezinski last week. Consider the chatter about chasing a Super Bowl, tacked on to the end of the interview: “Just want to be a small part of delivering that Lombardi to our very, very special fans.”
Start off with that first word: “just.”
Kicking off the Super Bowl dream is a quick quip — he repeated it fairly often in his recent interviews — that suggests Brzezinski sees himself as a pawn, not the queen. Reinforcing that idea is the notion of being a “small part” of winning a championship even if he’s a very important decision maker.
Next, there was the talk with Paul Allen and Pete Bercich. A similar idea gets passed along insofar as there’s humility in one hand and wild dreams in the other: “I just want to be a small part of helping deliver a championship to our fans.
