Vikings Finalize Initial 53-Man Roster
On a turbulent cutdown day, the Minnesota Vikings achieved their goal: finding a way to reduce the rostered players under the 53-man limit. A few surprises took place, but the roster stands, although it’s noteworthy that it’s just the initial group. More moves will follow in the next few days.

This is the roster on Tuesday afternoon. Starters are listed in bold, and backups are listed alphabetically.

The Vikings made the moves in recent days. Brett Rypien was cut, and Sam Howell was traded away.
