The View from VT: Vikings’ Dark Horse, MIN Football Geniuses, and Pace’s Good Day

Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.
The View from VT: May 24th, 2025
1) We Found the Vikings’ Dark Horse Player: Seeing Ambry Thomas secure a roster spot wouldn’t be completely surprising. After all, he’s a still-young corner who was drafted pretty high by a team that the Vikings are seeking to emulate. Does he make it as the CB4 or CB5?

2) Vikings Declared Football Geniuses: Well, genius seems like a pretty strong compliment, but there’s a case to be made that Minnesota made a savvy decision. The overseas games could end up working in the Vikings’ favor, but those games still need to be played (and won).
3) Oh, It Was a Good Day for Ivan Pace Jr.: Bit of a tricky situation for Ivan Pace, someone who has been very successful as an UDFA pickup. The aggressive defender deserves a strong raise and yet Minnesota doesn’t have ample cap space moving forward. Do the player and team split after the 2025 season?

4) Poorly Kept Vikings Secret is Out of the Bag: Seeing the Patriots come to TCO Performance Center for a bit of extra training camp work is a good thing. Ideally, the Vikings’ roster will be sitting at full health so that everyone gets a hearty workload in these more intense practices.
5) Vikings Named a Loser of the Week: No doubt, the offseason can lead to bad weeks for NFL franchises. The critical detail to remember is simply that losing a week in May is far better than losing a week in September. Or, perhaps, January and/or February.
