The View from VT: QB Revolving Door, 5 Players in MIN for a Workout, and Being at Rock Bottom

Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.
The View from VT: December 6th, 2025
1) Vikings Continue Revolving Door at QB: Depth quarterback Desmond Ridder has seen his fate with the Vikings directly tied to J.J. McCarthy. When the QB1 has been hurt, Ridder gets a spot with the Vikings. When the QB1 is healthy, Ridder gets shown the door.

2) Vikings Bring in 5 Players for a Workout, Including a 6’4″ Speedster: Building a roster never fully ends. There are times that are busier, to be sure, but a GM’s job is never done. The recent workout led to a certain player landing one of the openings on the practice squad.
3) 12 Reactions as the Vikings Hit Rock Bottom as a Franchise: Folks, there’s always lower that a team can go. Minnesota has been playing awful football but things could grow worse. Appreciate that Minnesota’s defense is offering respectable football and that a lot of specialists are shining.

4) Franchise Cornerstone Returns for Vikings: The Vikings need all the help they can get. Seeing the cornerstone left tackle get back onto the field is a positive development and yet not one that’s going to change the season. Can Christian Darrisaw climb up to elite in 2026? His current season has been up and down.
5) Vikings Don’t Even Bother with One Rookie: Ideally, a rookie will shine as a rookie. That’s not how the NFL works, though. Some guys take time. Currently, Mr. Felton is a great option on specials and a total afterthought on offense. Does he follow a similar progression as K.J. Osborn and Jalen Nailor? If so, then he’ll be alright in the end.

Enjoy the extra reading, Vikings fans.
