Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.

The View from VT: August 2nd, 2025

1) Everyone is Saying the Same Thing about Dallas Turner: No doubt, the sophomore has been showing up in the news. He doesn’t lack for talent and the word is that he has put in a ton of work. Generally speaking, combining first-rate talent with a top-tier work ethic is going to lead to good things.

2) Dark Horse WR Creating Buzz at Vikings Camp: The competition for the final receiver spot is going to be intense. All of Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, Jalen Nailor, and Tai Felton are basically guaranteed spots (with injury and/or suspension possibly opening short-term opportunities). Who forces himself onto the team in the final slot or two?

3) Vikings QB Castoff Fading Fast with New Team: One wonders if Daniel Jones will look back on the Colts decision with some regret. Yes, there’s some short-term upside in being able to (possibly) play more, but the best long-term decision for his career may have involved staying in Minnesota to learn from Kevin O’Connell.

4) ESPN Suggests the Unthinkable for Vikings at QB: Everyone has an opinion. In a lot of ways, that’s not a bad thing. Just note that the opinions that are housed inside of TCO Performance Center are the most important ones when it comes to the Vikings’ QB spot.

5) Vikings Defense Gets Reinforcement: Good to see that the young guy is back on the field. Making the team as an undrafted player is already a challenge, so missing time in the competition due to injury is a particularly difficult hurdle to overcome. Does Brian Flores keep him around?
