The View from VT: Signing a New Corner, Justin Jefferson’s Frustration, and Former Viking

Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.
The View from VT: November 15th, 2025
1) New Cornerback Signs with Vikings: GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah had an uncharacteristically quiet trade deadline. Afterwards, there was an effort to land free agent corner Asante Samuel Jr., but that didn’t work out. The shift was to a more unproven youngster for the practice squad.

2) Vikings Let the Cat Out of the Bag on Justin Jefferson’s Frustration: If I were the team’s WR1, then the deep passing game would be non-existent (I ran a 5.6 forty in high school, so I wasn’t overwhelmed with D1 offers). If I were the team’s WR1, then there would have been visible frustration far before Mr. Jefferson showed it. Minnesota has a major problem to fix.
3) Raiders Sign Another Former Viking: On any given day, a former Viking earns another chance. Lately, that has involved one notable example getting a shot to stick around in Sin City. Currently, the Raiders aren’t playing very good football. Does that change (at least in part) due to the recent signing?

4) Vikings on Track to Welcome Back Starter vs. Bears: Any and all help will be welcomed by the Vikings. At 4-5, making the playoffs isn’t particularly likely. There is, nevertheless, a path forward. Beefing up the roster with healthy players is one way of helping in the effort to secure the North.
5) Vikings Deliver Ryan Kelly Update: Someday, perhaps, Minnesota will get to see its preferred front five on the field. Kwesi Adofo-Mensah put in considerable effort to shore up the offensive line. In Ryan Kelly, Minnesota has a high-end center capable of playing excellent football if health will allow him to do so.
