Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.

The View from VT: September 13th, 2025

1) Buzz Around Vikings Bonus Draft Pick Skyrockets: Daniel Jones won the offseason competition, landing the QB1 job with the Colts. Doing so meant Minnesota has a greater chance of seeing their projected compensatory selection jump from a 5th to a 4th. The strong performance in Week 1 did little to dampen the expectation.

2) Vikings Evidently Have a New Coach: Whoever slots into that QB2 spot needs to do a pair of things. First, support J.J. McCarthy, mentoring the young fella with the weight of a franchise on his shoulders. Second, step in when needed to offer competent play.

3) Harrison Smith Appears to Spill the Beans: No replacing The Hitman. He’s basically Gandalf, a wise wizard who can lead the the Fellowship through perils aplenty.

4) Vikings Sign Undercover Stud Defender: A savvy signing, perhaps. Minnesota needed to pivot due to the injury turmoil, so the addition makes some sense. Maybe the veteran defender gets onto the field sooner rather than later.

5) 4 Losers from Vikings First Game of 2025: No doubt, there are some players who fared worse than others. Some even stepped away with an injury, necessitating the need for some rest to get back to full health. Final disclaimer: the Week 1 game is a single contest. Some who struggled will soon turn things around.
