The View from VT: Vikings Done it Again, Jordan Addison Legal Issue, and Adding a FA

Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.
The View from VT: June 21st, 2025
1) The Vikings May Have Done it Again: At this point, Kwesi Adofo-Mensah has a bit of a reputation, doesn’t he? The GM has a knack for finding a diamond in the rough. The latest batch of UDFA talent has some promising talent, so don’t be at all surprised if three-to-five make the final roster (such as the corner under consideration).

2) Jordan Addison’s Legal Situation Comes to a Head: The Addison issue has been ongoing for close to a year. At first, there was some uncertainty if there would be a legal result and/or NFL suspension last season, but that now appears to be arriving at some point soon.
3) Vikings Quietly Add Another Free Agent: The GM has gotten through the chaotic portion of his offseason: March and April. He’ll now get the chance to rest a bit before the chaos erupts yet again at the end August/early September when teams participate in the great descent from 90 to 53. In the meantime, he has made a quiet add.

4) Vikings Secure Future with Another Extension: Lots of business getting taken care of. Executives, coaches, and players are all seeing new deals get locked into place. And, to be sure, there’s good reason for doing so: Minnesota has been largely successful from 2022-2024. The team needs to keep pushing higher, though.
5) Report Reveals Vikings’ Real Plan at QB: The plan, guys and gals, is to give J.J. McCarthy all he needs to succeed. The No. 10 pick from the 2024 NFL Draft still has much to prove, but he’s receiving much by way of support. Some tentative optimism is allowed.

Enjoy the extra reading, Vikings fans.
