Vikings Injury Report Is Pretty Satisfying

The Minnesota Vikings prepare for the second game against the Green Bay Packers. A victory would keep the Vikings in the race for the NFC North and the conference’s top seed with a definitive matchup against the Detroit Lions next week.
Vikings Injury Report Is Pretty Satisfying
Vikings fans have followed the injury report all week and saw four guys in danger of missing the game. However, Friday’s final report is good news.
Harrison Smith ‒ No Injury Designation

The standout safety missed last week’s game in Seattle due to a foot injury. It was his first absence of the season. On Wednesday, he was listed as a non-participant on the estimated injury report, raising some concern.
On Thursday and Friday, he practiced fully and doesn’t have an injury status going into the weekend, meaning he is good to go to face the Packers, perhaps for the final time in his career.
Fabian Moreau ‒ Out

The cornerback is the only player ruled out for Sunday. He will miss his second consecutive game with a hip injury. Moreau entered the starting lineup when Stephon Gilmore missed a couple of games and the veteran did a decent job after some early struggles.
Expect Dwight McGlothern to take his spot as the team’s CB4 in Brian Flores’ defense.
Jalen Redmond ‒ No Injury Designation

Defensive tackle Jalen Redmond suffered a concussion late in the game against the Bears (on the final defensive play, to be specific). After sitting out a game and spending time in the concussion protocol, he does not have an injury designation and should be expected to return on Sunday.
Redmond is a disruptive run defender, which can pay big dividends against the Packers and their top rusher Josh Jacobs.
Ivan Pace ‒ Questionable

Linebacker Ivan Pace had his first carer absence, missing the last four contests. His return is imminent, though, after practicing fully for the entire week.
He is in his 21-day practice window, and the Vikings have until Saturday afternoon to make room for him and activate him to the 53-man roster. He is listed as questionable, but it would be a surprise if he couldn’t go.
Green Bay Packers

Compared to the Vikings, Green Bay’s injury list is massive. On Friday, the Packers ruled out star cornerback Jaire Alexander. There will not be another sequel against Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison in the 2024 season.
Backup offensive tackle Andre Dillard will miss the game with a concussion. Linebacker Quay Walker is out with an ankle injury, making more room for emerging rookie Edgerrin Cooper. Safety Evan Williams is also out because of a quad injury.
In addition to those four, the Packers listed safety Javon Bullard, wide receiver Christian Watson, and linebacker Ty’Ron Hooper as questionable.
