The day is almost here, folks. Some people will be as giddy as a young one on December 24th. Others are simply looking forward to the merciful end of relentless speculation.

Regardless of where you find yourself, the hope is that the Vikings’ depth chart will be a useful refresher. A lot of talent remains and yet there are also plenty of roster weaknesses. After all, Minnesota has pretty deliberately been moving themselves into a chaotic couple days. Much remains uncertain about the 2024 roster.

The Kirk Cousins domino is the almighty one. Once the QB decision is made, the Vikings will be able to make a pile of other decisions.

But then there’s the reality that the front seven needs an overhaul. And then there’s the issue at running back. And don’t forget about the lack of depth along the offensive line. Oh, and another corner couldn’t hurt and neither would a bit more help at receiver.

The Minnesota Vikings are looking to compete in 2024. Aiding them in their task is a budget that’s sitting at roughly $35 million, per Over the Cap. And, of course, there are a pile of free agents who have the potential to help the Vikings.

Take a look at the depth chart to see Minnesota’s current strengths and weaknesses.
