Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.

The View from VT: April 13th, 2024

1) ESPN Hints a Vikings Trade Already in Place: Kwesi Adofo-Mensah loves to trade. There are ample examples to prove as much. Any chance the team’s top decision maker already has an agreement in place? Possible, but a word of caution: the NFL Draft is an unpredictable place. So, don’t assume anything.

The 2023 NFL Draft Order Is Set

2) Report: Vikings Trade for QB Snagged on One Item: At the end of the day, there could really only be one issue: cost. There’s no shortage of speculation out there for what a leap up the board could cost Minnesota. Does the 2025 1st get tossed into the mix?

3) Mel Kiper Predicts Vikings Draft Pick: The draft analyst has been doing his job for a long time; his opinion carries some weight. And, to be sure, the player whom Kiper kicks over to Minnesota is someone who makes a lot of sense even if there remains some skepticism about this passer’s ability to carry a franchise. Can J.J. McCarthy become a true franchise QB?

4) There’s Already Enthusiasm for Vikings Newcomer: Truth be told, there’s quite a bit of cynicism out there when it comes to Sam Darnold’s ability to succeed as Minnesota’s QB1. As a result, it’s at least somewhat notable when someone relays some enthusiasm for the talented quarterback’s potential to thrive as a Viking.

5) Wild Punishment Idea Advanced for Falcons Tampering: Is the 2024 NFL Draft a deadline? Maybe yes, maybe no. Things appear to be moving slowly when it comes to the NFL’s investigation into potential tampering during Kirk Cousins’ free agency. Mike Florio, someone who has written quite a bit on the topic, offered an idea for an Atlanta consequence.
