Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.

The View from VT: December 7th, 2024

1) Vikings Release 2 Players: The roster maintenance never ends for Kwesi Adofo-Mensah. Players are always getting hurt and healthy, necessitating moves to either bring in help or clear out roster room. Throughout all of the injury turmoil, the Vikings have proven to be resilient.

2) Vikings’ Plan for Daniel Jones Unfolds: Get excited about the Daniel Jones deal. There is zero downside. The former No. 6 pick has great size, athleticism, and plenty of playing experience. He could end up being a tremendous backup option and even kick over a draft pick to Minnesota via the compensatory system before it’s all said and done.

3) This is the Vikings’ Playoff Math Right Now: Sitting at 10-2 has a way of making the playoffs look pretty good. Sam Darnold has saved his best football for the stretch run of the season. If the QB1 keeps taking care of the football while feeding his skilled guys, then Minnesota will be a lock for the postseason before long.

4) Vikings Sign Notable Reinforcement on Defense: The corner position is suddenly looking a bit shaky. Akayleb Evans was waived and then Stephon Gilmore is working through a hamstring injury. Bringing someone else in to help fortify the depth makes some sense.

5) 2 Surprising Vikings Lead the Way in Pro Bowl Voting: In fairness, Byron Murphy Jr. has really shown a lot of improvement throughout the season. He has arguably been the best corner. Combine the performance with his youth & versatility and Minnesota may look to bring him back on a pretty beefy extension.
