Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.

The View from VT: July 20th, 2024

1) Randy Moss Breaks from the Crowd with QB1 Endorsement for Vikings: Randy Moss can be an opinionated voice, which is a good thing. He’s an all-time great so folks should listen when he speaks. But while the legendary receiver is pushing for a certain outcome, it will be Kevin O’Connell who makes the actual decision.

2) 3 Vikings Camp Battles that May Already be Over: In reality, there’s still a lot that needs to be determined for the Minnesota Vikings. Camp is in place for a reason. Nevertheless, the statement can still be largely true. At some spots, we’re dealing with a 99% certainty.

3) Vikings Brass Reportedly Unhappy about Latest Incident: For good reason. Jordan Addison already had a legal issue with driving last offseason, an early problem that the team didn’t want to deal with. Fast forward a year and the Vikings are still grieving the death of Khyree Jackson when another driving issue emerges for Addison. Not good.

4) Texans Sign Former Vikings Player: The journeyman lineman gets his shot with a team that is stuffed to the gills with former Vikings players. The most prominent examples are Danielle Hunter and Stefon Diggs, great players who came out of that legendary 2015 draft class. The hope is that Chris Reed sticks around in Houston and plays well.

5) ESPN’s Kirk Cousins Theory … is Really Somethin’: Landing the four-year commitment at a whopping $180 million made things look pretty optimistic for Cousins in Atlanta. And then Michael Penix Jr., someone who is a bit older, got scooped up at No. 8 in the 2024 NFL Draft. What does the future hold for Mr. Cousins?
