Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.

The View from VT: October 5th, 2024

1) Adam Thielen Receives Bad News at Worst Possible Time: Part of the reason why Thielen took a step back in Minnesota was that he struggled to stay healthy as he got older. Last season, the receiver did plenty of good things for the Panthers, but an injury has sidelined him as he was doing some excellent work in Carolina. Hopefully, he gets back to 100% before too long.

2) Vikings Assigned the J-Word: Not too long ago, PurplePTSD suggested that the defense developed into a juggernaut due to the underrated contributions from Stephon Gilmore. More recently, a different publication has taken note of how the Minnesota Vikings are turning into a juggernaut.

3) One Reinforcement on His Way Back for Vikings: The wild thing is that Minnesota has been winning despite missing some key players. That’s one of the key reasons why believing in the 2024 Vikings makes sense. Getting Ivan Pace Jr. back would be a nice boost for the defense, especially when it comes to blitzing the QB.

4) Former Viking Signs with Ravens: Baltimore is a great organization, so getting a chance with the AFC contender is a good opportunity. The linebacker will likely need to prove that he can be a monster on special teams before getting a shot at the active roster. Otherwise, he would need to wait for an injury to occur.

5) Vikings HC Updates T.J. Hockenson’s Return: Overall, some great news for Mr. Hockenson. The tight end is going to be back before too long. He won’t be playing against the Jets on Sunday morning but he’ll get into some game action not too long after the bye.
