1) If Vikings Trade for a QB, It Will Be 1 of These 6 Men: Truth be told, there could be any number of scenarios that play out. Something that’s notable, though, is that the current regime has made some quarterback trades in recent seasons. At first, there was Nick Mullens. Next up was Joshua Dobbs. In a more roundabout manner, Jaren Hall arrived in Minnesota via trade. Does Kwesi Adofo-Mensah trade for another?

2) Insider Believes Kirk Cousins’ Decision is Down to 2 Teams: The Minnesota Vikings should still be the favorite to land Kirk Cousins. But, to be sure, much remains uncertain. Currently, the GM and QB are playing a high-stakes game of chicken. Both are tough negotiators, meaning each side will need to give ground somewhere for the relationship to continue.

3) Once-Promising QB Linked to Vikings in Trade Rumor Mill: The fit makes a tiny bit of sense. After all, Mac Jones showed off some strong potential as a rookie in 2021. The problem is simply that his second and third seasons haven’t been nearly as impressive. For whatever it’s worth, Adofo-Mensah has shown an affinity for bringing in young, upside player who are still playing on their rookie contracts.

4) Vikings Make First Free Agent Move: A sneaky nice move from the Vikings. Bringing the young safety back into the fold was always expected and yet it was still encouraging to see. In a safety room that was jam-packed with talent, Theo Jackson found a way of distinguishing himself as the S4 while also being a key special teams contributor.

5) An Explosive New Theory on Justin Jefferson’s Contract Extension: Folks, the receiver is looking to lock-in some massive guaranteed cash. Can you blame him? He has literally been doing unprecedented things and producing at a historically-great level. One thing is certain: trading him away would be a brutal decision.
