Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.

The View from VT: May 4th, 2024

1) They Have Done it Again: Vikings Steal Promising Undrafted Rookie: The GM has a reputation for being aggressive following the draft and he didn’t disappoint. He brought in a pile of players — seventeen — some of whom could reasonably snatch a roster spot and a meaningful job on Sunday. Edge rusher Gabriel Murphy is the one a lot of people have been focusing on.

2) Vikings Got a “Cold-Blooded Sniper.” Source? His Teammate: Kicking field goals in the NFL isn’t for the faint of heart. Whoever is in that position needs to be able to handle no shortage of pressure and criticism. Succeeding, though, can lead to wonderful moments of triumph.

3) Vikings Fill a Sneaky Need in the Sixth Round: The Vikings had to wait a long time before being able to get back on the clock, but their Day 3 haul addressed some of the team’s main needs. Kwesi Adofo-Mensah will be hoping at least two or three of these players really outperform their draft slot.

4) ESPN Reveals Mini-Bombshell from Vikings Draft: After the draft, there are always news reports and rumors circulating about what could have happened. And while many are pleased to see J.J. McCarthy and Dallas Turner onboarded, things could have gone in a different direction.

5) Vikings Soar in NFL.com Power Rankings: Truth be told, power rankings don’t really matter. What takes place on the field is when the rubber really meets the road. Now, that’s not to say that power rankings don’t have their place. They can be the spark that lights debate fires and can often make for entertaining reading as we try to determine where Minnesota belongs in the NFL hierarchy.
