Injury Report Week 11 ‒ Vikings at Titans

I said last week that big stretches of away games tend to produce bigger injury reports. After the first of three games away from Minnesota, the Vikings dodged the first bullet. Although nine players are battling through some kind of injury, no active players have an injury designation for the game, the first time this has happened since Week 5.
Besides two players put on injured reserve recently, the Titans are also relatively healthy for the game, with three players going into the game with an injury designation.
Tennessee Titans Injuries

Head coach Brian Callahan ruled out CB L’Jarius Sneed and OT Leroy Watson. Sneed hasn’t played since Week 6 against the Colts with a quad injury. He wasn’t put on injury reserve, but it is still unclear when and if he will return. Watson is dealing with a back injury and didn’t practice the whole week. CB Justin Hardee (groin) didn’t practice on Wednesday, was limited on Thursday but out again on Friday and is listed as questionable.
Four players missed practice on Wednesday, with OLB Arden Key (back) being upgraded to full the next two days, RB Tony Pollard (foot) limited on Thursday and full on Friday, and CB Roger McCreary (knee) doing the opposite, being a full participant and downgraded to limited the next day. DT Jeffery Simmons had just a rest day on Wednesday. DB Jarvis Brownlee appeared on the injury report on Friday with an ankle injury.
Minnesota Vikings Injuries

No player on the active roster is declared out or questionable for the game in Tennessee. Gabriel Murphy, the only one out, is still recovering from a knee injury suffered during preseason and hasn’t been activated from the injury reserve. Although this is very good news, the Vikings do have a couple of banged-up players.
RB Aaron Jones suffered a rib injury after a hard tackle against the Jaguars. He was sidelined for a couple of drives but later returned and helped finish the game. He was limited on Wednesday and Thursday before being upgraded to a full participant on Friday. The same happened to TE Josh Oliver (hand/wrist) and OLB Andrew Van Ginkel (hip). Oliver has been dealing with this wrist injury since the beginning of the season.

QB Sam Darnold (right hand) and OT Cam Robinson (foot) were also limited on Wednesday but were full participants the next two days. Darnold apparently suffered this injury last week when trying to tackle a Jaguars player after one of his interceptions. He was seen on the sidelines with discomfort in his hand and throwing the ball to see if everything was OK.
LBs Blake Cashman (elbow) and Ivan Pace (knee), as well as S Theo Jackson (hand), appeared on the injury report but were full participants the entire week. This is a recurrent injury for Jackson, with him and Josh Oliver on the report almost weekly. As usual, Harrison Smith and Stephon Gilmore had rest days on Friday.
