Vikings fans did not get an early Christmas present from their football team this weekend as Minnesota fell to the Detroit Lions by a score of 30-24.

With the loss, Minnesota took a tumble down the NFL standings, and much of their struggles once again had to do with turnover troubles on the offensive side of the ball.

With the weekend behind us, today we will be breaking down the Vikings statistical rankings on offense through Week 16 as a whole, and where individual players stand. Shout out to Pro-Football-ReferencePro Football Focus, and nfeloapp.com for the numbers that went into this article. Stay tuned for the defensive rankings later today as well.

NOTE: Individual PFF Grades are sorted to include players with at least 20% of the league leader’s number of dropbacks, carries, or targets.

Four turnovers on Sunday means the Vikings are back to averaging a pair of turnovers per game, and they remain among the bottom three teams in the NFL in that category. They did move slightly up the board in yardage categories, but otherwise, this team continues to be a consensus “middle of the back” group on offense heading into the final two weeks of the season.

The Vikings were unable to replicate their rushing production this weekend, totaling a measly 17 rushing yards on their 11 carries. This brought them back down near the basement of the league in many rushing categories.

Meanwhile, Nick Mullens’ four interceptions on Sunday means the Vikings are averaging a full interception per game for the first time this season since Week 1.
