Vikings Podcast: Live Reactions to the Purple News

Last week, I stepped away from work. Doing so involved making a concerted effort to avoid Vikings news (a task that’s easier said than done). Since I was coming back to a fresh infusion of Vikings updates, Sizzlin’ Sam and I decided to seize the opportunity. In the most recent episode of Notes from the North – a humble Vikings podcast – Sizzlin’ Sam hits me with the latest Vikings news to get my instant reaction.

Take a peak at what Sizzlin’ Sam has to say: “Kyle has come back from a week away of consuming the latest sports news. Sam brings forward several headlines related to the Vikings to get Kyle’s instant reaction, including Netflix series on Cousins, Tomlinson’s contract, 2020 NFL redraft and possibility of Ramsey to the Vikings.”

Admittedly, I did see some of the headlines. My general perusing of the sports news informed me that Cousins and Netflix were now a thing. Ditto for Tomlinson and the void year situation.

Regardless, the broader point remains: the episode was devoted to some off-the-cuff reactions to some of the Vikings news to emerge. In an ideal world, it’ll lead to some interesting listening.

Sizzlin’ Sam even provides a bit of hockey chatter. The NHL trade deadline arrives at the end of the week, so we get a bit of talk about how things may go for the Wild.

Folks who are into Vikings podcasts or think they’d like to get into Vikings podcasts should feel free to give Notes from the North a shot. Hop over to iTunes, Spotify, or Podbean. My understanding is that you don’t need an account at these spots. Just press play and enjoy the pod.

Enjoy the listening, Vikings fan.
