The Minnesota Vikings wrapped up their first game of the 2023 regular season about 24 hours ago.

Despite their disappointing loss happening so recently, the Vikings have a very fast turnaround this week with a Thursday game in Philadelphia just three days from now.

As a result, the Vikings released their first injury report of Week 2 on Monday, and the Vikings listed three players on the report. Those three players were Garrett Bradbury, Marcus Davenport, and Christian Darrisaw.

It is worth noting that the Vikings did not actually conduct a practice on Monday, so the statuses of each player were an estimation. That being said, Bradbury was listed as a DNP with his back injury that knocked him out of Sunday’s game.

Meanwhile, both Darrisaw and Davenport were listed as limited with their ankle injuries. Darrisaw played the majority of Sunday’s game, but he did have to leave for a few snaps to get his ankle looked at. In his stead, Oli Udoh stepped in at the left tackle spot.

As for Davenport, his ankle injury seems to have popped up late last week, and the first time we saw him on an injury report was last Friday. He did not play in Week 1 because of the injury, but this “limited” status indicates that he is recovering.

Outside of these three injuries that we already knew about, it is encouraging to see that nothing else seems to have popped up in the aftermath of Week 1’s loss.

The Eagles will also release an initial injury report at some point today, but they are yet to do so.
