The Minnesota Vikings had a pretty lengthy list of players on their Wednesday injury report for Week 5.

However, the only players that outright missed practice yesterday were due to veteran rest days. Then, on Thursday, Minnesota’s injury report cleaned up even further, and it appears the Vikings could receive more offensive line help this weekend. For Thursday’s injury report, there were six players listed, but nobody completely sat out of the session. For the first time in weeks, Garrett Bradbury was a full participant in practice as well.

Here is a look at the full injury report for the Vikings:

  • C Garrett Bradbury (Back, Full)
  • LB Brian Asamoah (Toe, Limited)
  • S Lewis Cine (Hamstring, Limited)
  • OLB Marcus Davenport (Ankle, Limited)
  • S Josh Metellus (Shoulder, Limited)
  • QB Nick Mullens (Back, Limited)

Outside of Bradbury’s status being upgraded to a full participant as well as Jordan Hicks, Brian O’Neill, and Harrison Smith returning from rest days, the Vikings injury report remains the same as Wednesday.

Marcus Davenport is still limited with his ankle injury, but considering he was able to play (and perform rather well) against the Carolina Panthers, there should be optimism that he is able to go again this Sunday.

This is a very positive injury report ahead of Minnesota’s game against the defending Super Bowl champs. In fact, the biggest question mark for Minnesota at this point could be at the backup QB position.

Minnesota signed undrafted rookie Tanner Morgan to the practice squad on Thursday morning, less than 24 hours after Nick Mullen popped up on Wednesday’s injury report with a back injury. If Mullens were unable to suit up on Sunday, it appears the plan would be for Jaren Hall to take over that backup QB spot while Morgan would serve as the emergency QB3.

Each of Kansas City and Minnesota will release one more injury report on Friday before this weekend’s game. Kickoff is scheduled for Sunday, October 8th at 3:25 PM Central inside U.S. Bank Stadium.
