Rumor: The Full Minnesota Vikings 2023 Schedule Has Leaked

The 2023 NFL schedule release is set for tonight at 8 PM EST, but according to information from a handful of sources, our flag-ship site, VikingsTerritory, obtained the full Minnesota Vikings 2023 schedule.
Minnesota will begin their 2023 campaign with a home matchup against the Tom Brady-less Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who will be quarterbacked by either Baker Mayfield or Kyle Trask. Here’s a look at the full leaked schedule, with home games highlighted in purple:
- Week 1: Buccaneers (9/10)
- Week 2: at Eagles (9/14, TNF)
- Week 3: Chargers (9/24)
- Week 4: at Panthers (10/1)

- Week 6: at Bears (10/15)
- Week 7: 49ers (10/23, MNF)

Minnesota will get their much-anticipated matchup with the the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs in Week 5 at U.S. Bank Stadium.

They are also slated for five primetime games this season, with the first of these five being another Week 2 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles. This game will once again take place in Philadelphia, but instead of Monday night like in 2022, it will be played on Thursday night.
The Vikings will also close the year with three games against NFC North opponents, including both games against the Detroit Lions coming in the final three weeks. In all likelihood, the hope here is that the two teams will be competing for an NFC North crown when these games roll around.

Their bye is also much later this year than it has been in recent years. This schedule has the Vikings slated for a Week 13 bye compared to the Week 7 byes that they’ve had in each of the past three years.
Minnesota has eight home games this year compared to nine road games. Last season, they had nine home games, seven true road games, and a game in London where they played the role of ‘visitor’ against the New Orleans Saints.
Changes can still come in the coming hours prior to the official schedule release tonight, but this looks to be the Vikings roadmap for the 2023 season.
