Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we occasionally promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.

The View from VT: September 23rd, 2023

1) Vikings Viewed as Trade Destination for Once-Promising RB: In the end, the prophecy was fulfilled. Sometimes the purple dot connecting comes together and everything works out in a pretty logical manner. Onboarding Cam Akers means the Minnesota offense has another option when it comes to handing off the ball.

2) Vikings Lineman Done for 2023 Season: Really tough news for Oli Udoh. The Vikings really like the Elon alumni since he’s more than capable of offering strong play at the left and right tackle spots in a pinch. Minnesota now transitions toward David Quessenberry as they hope for a healthy Christian Darrisaw and Brian O’Neill.

3) Don’t Be Surprised if Vikings Get a New RB1 Soon: Forced to guess, I’d say Alexander Mattison’s grip on the RB1 job is fairly secure. Beyond Mattison is where there could be more shuffling. Ty Chandler could very reasonably get bumped down to RB3 as Akers takes over at RB2.

4) Adam Thielen Catches Criticism for “Antics” and “Hissy Fit” from Respected Film Analyst: Adam Thielen is still beloved in Minnesota. That’s what happens when a local kid fulfills the dream by ascending from UDFA longshot to WR1 for the Vikings. His start in Carolina hasn’t been stellar and he has heard some criticism.

5) Done Deal: Vikings Finally Get Their OL Wish: Vikings fans can be a passionate bunch. Often, that passion gets funnelled into an unruly anxiousness about the offensive line. Coming to an agreement with Dalton Risner has satisfied the masses (at least for now).
