Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we occasionally promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.

The View from VT: December 2nd, 2023

1) Another Piece of the Vikings’ QB Puzzle Falls into Place as Season Enters Final Stretch: Getting Jaren Hall back into the mix is a good thing, folks. The rookie did some positive things in his limited action against Atlanta, but it’s impossible to come away with any firm conclusions about his abilities based on that game alone. Whether he gets the chance to play again will come down to his practice reps.

2) Free Agent Pass Rusher Linked to Vikings: Saying a team has too many pass rushers is like saying a hockey team has too many scorers or a basketball team has too many 3-point shooters. There’s no such thing as too many. Even still, the odds of Minnesota going out now to sign a veteran pass rusher are small (unless there’s an injury that necessitates an add).

3) Vikings Due for a Big Game from One Man: Yes, seeing Jordan Addison get back to his explosive self will do wonders for the offense. The rookie isn’t going to win many strength tests in the NFL, but he could certainly win some quickness battles. Being able to run alongside Justin Jefferson again is going to help.

4) Never Has it Been Easier to Identify the Problem: No doubt. Turning the ball over has become all-too-common in Minnesota. Eliminating that singular, major problem will dramatically increase the chances of success. Easier said than done, of course, but there really isn’t much of a mystery about what the mandate is.

5) There’s a New Team the Vikings Must Worry about in Playoff Race: An old nemesis lurks into view. Not altogether unlike the masked killer in a slasher movie, the Packers appeared to be firmly in the rear view mirror only to re-emerge as a viable threat. Just about everyone in Minnesota is hoping the good guys manage to avoid a grisly fate.
