Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we occasionally promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.

The View from VT: September 9th, 2023

1) Vikings Formally Name WR2 to Start Season: Before long, Jordan Addison will be taking over the job. For now, K.J. Osborn is the Robin to Justin Jefferson’s Batman. Even with the official title being given to Osborn, Addison may be the one who puts up better numbers.

2) Former Vikings Head Coach Has New Gig: Hard not to cheer for Leslie Frazier. Yes, it was likely time for Minnesota to move on when they did, but Frazier is a good coach. He did some excellent work in Buffalo, so maybe he’ll get another chance at being a head coach.

3) Packers Work Out Former Vikings Speedster: Green Bay is looking to avoid a major drop off after saying goodbye to their first-ballot Hall of Famer at QB. They’ve already scooped up a talented former Viking, but there’s at least some interest in another.

4) The Vikings Might Have a Sneaky Plan at Cornerback: The head coach and general manager have basically confirmed as much. To shore up an area of weakness — corner — the Vikings will turn to an area of strength. Fan and analyst alike will learn if the plan will work starting on Sunday, September 10th.

5) Vikings Wiggled a Caveat into T.J. Hockenson’s Contract: Nothing too major, but certainly a detail to keep in mind as the contract gets going. The more important thing is simply that the talented tight end will be employed in Minnesota for several more years.
