Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we occasionally promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look of five of their articles from the past week.

1) 1 Viking Quietly Left the Team During Draft: Yes, there was some odd timing for Chandon Sullivan, who will join Patrick Peterson in Pittsburgh. He struggled in his lone season in Minnesota, but that same assessment could be made for a lot of defenders working within last season’s overmatched defense.

2) That Vikings-49ers Trade Turned out Pretty Nifty: Truth be told, we’ll need to wait much longer to know whether the trade worked out. Kwesi Adofo-Mensah was much more restrained in his second draft. He was active, to be sure, but not quite at the same level as in the 2022 NFL Draft.

3) Vikings Rookie Puts League on Notice: The linebacker was a surprise addition to the UDFA group. Very wisely, the Vikings decided to bring him aboard. The depth at LB is fairly thin, so perhaps he’ll be able to get onto the 53-man roster.

4) Former Vikings Defender Irked by New Team: As far as I can tell, the offseason hasn’t gone particularly well for Mr. Boyd. A special teams star, Boyd couldn’t carve out a meaningful role on defense in 2022. He’ll hopefully get things moving in the right direction with Arizona.

5) Former Vikings QB Signs with Bengals: Cincinnati is a good spot for QBs right now. Of course, there’s essentially no competition for the QB1 job since Joe Burrow happens to be pretty good. If the overall objective, though, is to be a strong backup, then the Bengals make a lot of sense.
