Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we occasionally promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look of five of their articles from the past week.

The View from VT: July 8th, 2023

1) Brand New Team Enters Dalvin Cook Rumor Mill: At this point, a ton of teams have been linked to the talented running back (including the entire AFC East). The veteran is taking his time, waiting for both a contract and team he loves. After 6 excellent seasons, Cook has more than earned the chance to be selective about his next stop.

2) Vikings Achilles Heel is Worrisome for Brian Flores: Generally speaking, Vikings fans don’t need any extra reason to worry. Years of heartbreak and letdown can do that to a group of fans. Maybe a strong training camp and preseason will spark renewed hope for what the upcoming season can bring.

3) Former NFLer Pounds Table for 2023 Vikings — Again: Not too many analysts are rolling with the Vikings. A far more fashionable pick is the Detroit Lions, a team that hasn’t been relevant for a very long time. Hopefully, the Vikings can overcome the widespread doubt by proving the few believers right.

4) One New Viking is ‘Tough as Hell’: Being tough is basically a prerequisite for the position. Coordinating an NFL defense isn’t for the faint of heart. In a perfect world, the Vikings’ defense will capture some of that toughness and display it on the field. Repeating the recent performances isn’t part of a winning recipe.

5) One Name Keeps Popping up for Vikings Free Agent Plans: Minnesota could certainly use some reinforcements, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Sitting on a small mountain of cap space allows GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah to consider free agents (if that’s the route he’d like to pursue).
