The Bears and Vikings have been rivals for a very long time. In fact, the first game in Vikings history back on September 17th, 1961, was against these Bears, and Minnesota won 37-13. In total, the two teams have played 124 times, including one game in the playoffs, which the Bears won on New Year’s Day in 1995.

Despite the playoff loss, the Vikings lead the all-time series with 65 wins compared to 57 for the Bears. The two teams have also tied twice.

Vikings Spotlight Player: WR Jordan Addison

Justin Jefferson is out for at least the next four games as he heads to IR with his hamstring injury. As a result, Minnesota is in dire need of someone to step up at the wide receiver position. Currently, the receiver room on the 53-man roster is extremely thin, containing only Jordan Addison, K.J. Osborn, and Brandon Powell.

Addison was selected by the team in the first round of the 2023 Draft for a reason, and now, he has a huge opportunity in front of him to take the reins of the offense. The same can be said of K.J. Osborn, who is still trying to earn a big payday for next season.

Bears Spotlight Player: RB Roschon Johnson

Roschon Johnson went a bit under the radar during his collegiate days at Texas playing behind Bijan Robinson. However, in his short time at the NFL level, he’s showing why he was worth a fourth-round flyer.

So far this season, the rookie RB has totaled 36 touches for 180 yards and a touchdown. With Khalil Herbert doubtful to play this weekend because of an ankle sprain suffered last Thursday against the Commanders, Johnson seems in line to get the majority of the workload in the backfield on Sunday.
