Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we occasionally promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look of five of their articles from the past week.

1) Minnesota Kicker Signs with Falcons: Atlanta already has an excellent kicking situation, so perhaps we’re dealing with a scenario where the rich are getting richer. Meanwhile, Minnesota enters training camp with a competition between the veteran Greg Joseph and a rookie who kicked at Georgia, Jack Podlesny.

2) New Viking is an Instant Pro Bowl Candidate: To my mind, bringing the former Saint to Minnesota was a brilliant move. Tons of upside in the deal. In a perfect world, the partnership works out so well that Mr. Davenport sticks around Minnesota for several more years.

3) Vikings Earn Spot on an NFL’s ‘Worst’ List: In truth, the Vikings defense is likely to struggle at various stages in the season. Yes, Brian Flores is an excellent coach, but there is much that needs to be proven. A lot of young fellas will need to step up. If they don’t, we could be in store for a fourth-straight year of horrendous Minnesota defense.

4) Rick Spielman Reveals His Plan B for the Justin Jefferson Pick: Being prepared is a key component of a general manager’s job. Thankfully, Slick Rick didn’t need to dip into his Plan B. That Jefferson guy is working out alright.

5) Speedy Viking Received Unforeseen Attention at Minicamp: Kene Nwangwu doesn’t lack for speed. After a pair of seasons in the NFL, the remarkably fast RB hasn’t been able to get into the offense for very many snaps. Will that change in the upcoming season?
